The rear yard

Rebuilding a house and planning a trip !

It is now 5 weeks before we leave and the rear yard is a mess.  Wall foundation to be excavated, concrete to be poured, bluestones to be laid for the wall, slab to be poured and then tiled.  It will be a race to the end to finish all this before we depart.

Planning the trip

The hours of Planning are over and we are ready to go.

We are travelling west from Melbourne to Dubai, leaving 10 July 2013 and returning to Melbourne 16 September 2013 from Los Angeles.  This trip will include Dubai, London, Paris, Dubrovnic, Zagreb, Budapest, Amsterdam, Boston, Washington, New York, Maine, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Melbourne.

We will be walking around London and Paris, driving through Croatia, River Cruising down the Danube, walking around Amsterdam, driving around Boston and New york, Flying to Washington, Ferry around Vancouver, driving from Seattle to San Francisco, flying to Los Angeles and then home on the A380.

This two months will be the longest but easiest and most enjoyable trip we have ever embarked upon.

We are taking our ipad and hope there will be enough hot spots on our trip to share some of our adventure with our close friends and family.
